ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan skipper and famous cricketer Misbah-ul-Haq tendered his resignation from the Pakistan Cricket Board’s selection committee.
Sources said Misbah sent his resignation to the PCB through email after disagreements over player selection decisions.
The former captain reportedly objected to the selection process and raised concerns about recent decisions involving replacement players.
According to sources, Misbah was not consulted before players were sent to England as replacements for dropped squad members.
The decision reportedly increased tensions and prompted Misbah to communicate his reservations to the PCB.
He subsequently submitted his resignation after expressing concerns about the selection process.

Misbah joined the PCB selection committee in March this year.
