ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has invited applications for Minority Welfare Fund Scholarships for the financial year 2026-27. The scholarships support minority students studying at government educational institutions from primary level to professional education.
According to the ministry, students must be enrolled regularly at government institutions to qualify for financial assistance. Applicants must have secured at least 50 percent marks in their latest annual examination.
Students following a GPA system must also submit an evaluation sheet issued by their educational institution.
Furthermore, the monthly income of the applicant’s parents or guardian must not exceed Rs80,000. Students enrolled at private institutions are not eligible for the scholarships.
Likewise, students pursuing diploma, MPhil or LLB programmes cannot apply under the scheme.
Applicants receiving scholarships, stipends or financial assistance from another source are also ineligible.
Application Process and Documents
Eligible students must submit their applications online through the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony website.
Applicants must complete the online form within 30 days after the advertisement’s publication.
They must then print the application and computer-generated number after completing the online process.
Moreover, applicants must provide attested copies of their latest marks sheet, DMC or progress report.
Semester-based students must submit marks sheets for their last two semesters.
Applicants must also provide a GPA evaluation sheet, where applicable, and an original income certificate.
An attested CNIC or NADRA B-Form copy and a bank account maintenance certificate are also required.
Finally, applicants must submit the printed application and supporting documents to the ministry within five days of online submission.
