PESHAWAR: Children from the Zamong Kor Model Institute for Children in Peshawar, along with students from Pakistan’s Hindu, Sikh, and Christian communities, enthusiastically took part in the “ISPR Summer Camp 2025” organized by the Pakistan Army.
Held at the Para Training School, the camp featured a range of engaging activities and a sports gala where participants showcased their talents through practical exercises. The event promoted a strong message of national unity, inclusion, and patriotism.
Students described the camp as a deeply memorable experience that strengthened their connection with the Pakistan Army and gave them a sense of purpose. Many expressed that the program inspired them to consider joining the armed forces in the future.
Participants, especially those from minority backgrounds, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Director General of ISPR and the Pakistan Army, urging for such camps to be held twice a year to further encourage national pride among youth.
Anmol, a Hindu student, said, “I am proud to represent Pakistan’s minority community. The white in our flag symbolizes us — and that is an honour.”
Another participant, Diya Vikram, shared, “We are going home with incredible memories. This camp taught us that safeguarding Pakistan is our highest duty.”
Aneza Aneel added, “Being part of this summer camp is a source of immense pride — my identity is Pakistan.”
Representing the Christian community, Musa Jameel noted, “The military and civilian mentors reminded us that our identity is tied to Pakistan — if it stands, so do we.”
Sikh student Manpreet Kaur reflected, “Our visit to the sports gala and Para Training School was truly unforgettable. We’ll cherish these moments forever.”
The active involvement of orphaned and minority students in the ISPR Summer Camp 2025 stands as a testament to Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to national harmony, inclusion, and youth engagement.
