Mass Protests
Amid rising tensions between Pakistan and India, massive protests erupted throughout Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) as a powerful public response to what is being widely condemned as Indian aggression.
In an extraordinary display of unity and patriotism, thousands of AJK residents took to the streets in various cities, voicing their unwavering support for the Pakistan Armed Forces and denouncing the hostile actions of the Indian military.
The streets of AJK echoed with passionate slogans such as “Kashmir ki azadi tak jang rahegi” (The struggle will continue until Kashmir is free), “Hafiz teri nazar Srinagar” (Hafiz, your eyes are on Srinagar), and “Srinagar banega Pakistan” (Srinagar will become part of Pakistan).
Demonstrators waved Pakistani flags, held placards, and marched in large numbers to affirm their loyalty to Pakistan and their firm rejection of Indian actions in the region.
From Muzaffarabad to Mirpur and Kotli, the atmosphere was charged with emotion as people of all ages joined in the demonstrations. Protesters also raised strong chants against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian armed forces, holding them responsible for the escalation of hostilities and violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.
The public fervor highlighted the depth of resentment among Kashmiris against India’s long-standing policies in the disputed region.
Speakers at various rallies emphasized that the people of AJK stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army and are ready to defend their land against any form of aggression.
Community leaders, political figures, and civil society members addressed the crowds, reiterating their belief that Kashmir’s freedom is inevitable and resistance against Indian oppression will continue with greater force.
Defence analysts have noted that this large-scale mobilisation of the public in AJK carries strategic and symbolic weight. According to experts, the massive turnout reflects that any Indian hostility will not face military resistance alone but a united and resilient Pakistani nation.
The show of solidarity from the people of AJK strengthens the national morale and sends a loud message across the border that Pakistan is prepared—both militarily and socially—to repel any act of aggression.
The protests also reflect a broader sentiment across Pakistan, as the nation watches closely amid escalating cross-border tensions. As the situation develops, authorities remain vigilant, and the people of AJK continue to voice their commitment to the cause of Kashmir and their support for national defense.
