A man has died after allegedly suffering a brutal assault in the Wanjiki Tarar area of Hafizabad district. According to a television report, suspects allegedly forced gas into his body using a pipe during the assault.
The victim, identified as Ali Hassan, was allegedly assaulted by the owner of a gas-refilling shop and an accomplice. The suspects allegedly inserted a pipe into a sensitive part of his body and forced gas inside.
Victim Suffers Severe Internal Injuries
According to the report, the assault caused Ali Hassan’s abdomen to swell severely and reportedly ruptured his intestines. He initially received treatment at the Trauma Centre in Hafizabad after the incident.
Doctors later referred him to a hospital in Lahore because of the seriousness of his condition. Ali Hassan remained hospitalized for five days before eventually dying from his injuries.
Police Register Case After Incident
Police registered a case at Wanjiki Tarar police station following the incident. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged assault and the involvement of the suspects.
The victim’s family has demanded strict legal action against those allegedly responsible. They have also called for appropriate punishment if the suspects are found responsible for the man’s death.
The incident has raised concerns over the alleged brutality inflicted on the victim. Police are expected to continue investigating the case and gather evidence to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.
