KARACHI: Police in Karachi arrested another alleged female drug trafficker, Nargis alias Malka, during a major anti-narcotics operation following the recent high-profile arrest of Anmol alias Pinky. Authorities identified the suspect as Nargis alias โMalka,โ who managed large-scale narcotics distribution across Karachi and interior Sindh.
According to police officials, the operation took place in the Swati Mohalla area near Khudadad Graveyard after law enforcement agencies received confidential intelligence regarding drug trafficking activities. Senior Superintendent of Police Abdul Khaliq Pirzada confirmed that officers conducted the raid successfully and arrested the suspect on Wednesday.
Large Quantity of Hashish Recovered
Police recovered 35 kilograms and 265 grams of hashish, commonly known as charas, during the raid. Officials estimated the value of the seized narcotics at more than Rs60 million in the illegal market. Furthermore, investigators confiscated over Rs100,000 in cash from the suspectโs possession.
Authorities stated that the drugs were prepared for distribution in multiple residential and upscale neighborhoods across Karachi. Investigators also claimed that the suspect maintained links with an organized narcotics network operating in different parts of the city and interior Sindh.
Police Intensify Anti-Narcotics Crackdown
Meanwhile, police launched additional raids to arrest other alleged members of the trafficking network. SSP Malir Abdul Khaliq Pirzada stated that authorities would continue operations until they dismantle the entire drug supply chain connected to the group.
The latest arrest follows ongoing investigations into alleged drug trafficker Anmol alias Pinky, also known as the โCocaine Queen.โ Police earlier claimed they arrested Anmol with a mobile drug laboratory and recovered semi-prepared cocaine, chemical substances, capsules, and a pistol during a separate operation.
