A video showing a man clinging to the bonnet of a luxury car has gone viral on social media in Rawalpindi. The incident took place on Murree Road following a collision between two vehicles. A heated argument reportedly broke out between the parties after the crash.
According to traffic police, the owner of one vehicle climbed onto the other car’s bonnet to prevent its driver from leaving.
Luxury Car Driver Speeds Away
Despite the man being on the bonnet, the driver reportedly accelerated and continued driving along the road.
During the incident, a motorcycle belonging to another person became trapped underneath the vehicle. The car reportedly dragged the motorcycle along the road as the driver continued moving. The video quickly attracted attention on social media, with users expressing concern over the dangerous driving incident.
Police later took the owners of both vehicles to the police station.
Officials also facilitated a settlement between the parties following the incident.
Rawalpindi CPO Orders Investigation
Rawalpindi City Police Officer Hasan Mushtaq Sukhera took notice of the incident and ordered an investigation into the alleged hit-and-run. The CPO directed police to identify and arrest those involved without delay. He also ordered officials to initiate legal proceedings against anyone found responsible.
