Swat-Like Operation
PPP President and former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari stated on Monday that it is necessary to conduct an operation similar to the Swat operation to eradicate terrorism in the country, according to a statement by PPP.

Zardari conveyed his condolences for the martyrdom of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider, Naik Rafiq Khan, Naik Khushdal Khan, and Lance Naik Abdul Qadir during an operation in Tirah, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The former president emphasized that the nation would not allow the sacrifices of its brave men to be in vain. He stated that a Swat-like operation was imperative to eliminate terrorism in the country.
The former president, Asif Ali Zardari, asserted that terrorists are the adversaries of the nation and stressed the imperative need for their eradication. He extended his sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs and offered prayers for the swift recovery of the injured.
In a tragic incident earlier today, an exchange of fire occurred between terrorists and Pakistan Army soldiers during an intelligence-based operation in the Tirah area of the Khyber district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
This operation, carried out by security forces due to reported terrorist presence, resulted in the death of three terrorists, with three others sustaining injuries.
Tragically, four soldiers, including a lieutenant colonel, lost their lives during the operation, as confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations in a statement.
Asif Ali Zardari’s firm stance against terrorism underscores the nation’s collective determination to combat this menace and ensure the safety and security of its citizens.
