The Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast indicating rainfall in specific areas of Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab today.
In Islamabad, the day will start with hot weather, but showers are expected in a few locations by evening.
Across other regions of Pakistan, dry and hot conditions will prevail.
Temperatures are set to soar, with Sibbi anticipated to reach a scorching 49 degrees Celsius and Turbat 48 degrees. Islamabad is forecasted to reach a high of 43 degrees, Lahore 44 degrees, and Karachi around 35 degrees, according to the department’s spokesperson.
Later in the day, rain is anticipated in lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern Balochistan, and central/southern Punjab, offering some relief from the prevailing heat.
In Lahore, residents are experiencing a pleasant change due to dusty winds that have noticeably cooled the atmosphere. The Meteorological Department predicts intermittent rain accompanied by thunderstorms in various parts of the city today.
Temperatures in Lahore are expected to range between 28 degrees Celsius at night and a maximum of 38 degrees during the day.
These expected weather conditions bring welcome relief to Lahore residents, easing the typical discomfort of summer heat. The combination of strong winds and potential rainfall is likely to provide a refreshing break from the high temperatures, improving overall weather conditions across the city.
