After Lahore, Peshawar is now shrouded in smog

“Environmental pollution can lead to asthma,” warn medical experts as Peshawar faces severe smog conditions.

The city is currently experiencing some of the worst air quality, exacerbated by a lack of rainfall. The air quality index (AQI) has soared to 123, well above the typical level of 50.

Health officials are urging residents to take preventive measures against the smog, which is also affecting Lahore and various regions in Punjab.
