Dry Weather Forecast for Most of Pakistan: PMD Report

Dry Weather

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a forecast indicating dry weather conditions across several regions of Pakistan in the coming days.

On October 21, the country is expected to experience primarily dry and hot weather, with the PMD emphasizing that most areas will see minimal precipitation.

As the forecast continues into October 22, dry conditions are anticipated to persist in most regions. However, the PMD has noted that Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan may witness partly cloudy skies, along with the possibility of rain and thunderstorms.

This pattern of localized rainfall in specific areas suggests that while the majority of the country remains dry, certain regions will experience a different weather dynamic.

On October 23, the weather outlook remains similar, with dry conditions dominating most of the country.

Nonetheless, Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan may again see the potential for rain and thunderstorms, indicating that the weather may remain unsettled in these mountainous areas.

The persistence of this forecast highlights the distinct climatic variations that can occur within Pakistan.

Looking ahead to October 24 and 25, the PMD predicts that mainly dry weather will continue to prevail. However, there is a possibility of cloudiness in Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, where some rain and thunderstorms may still occur.

This suggests a transitional phase in the weather, as the dry conditions in other parts of the country contrast with the variable weather patterns in the northern regions.

Importantly, the PMD has also forecasted a noticeable drop in temperatures in hilly areas on October 25, indicating a shift towards cooler weather as the season progresses.

Finally, on October 26, the PMD expects dry conditions to persist across the country, while chilly temperatures in the hilly regions are likely to continue.

This forecast underscores the diverse weather patterns that characterize Pakistan and highlights the importance of staying informed about local conditions as the climate evolves.
