United States Ambassador Donald Blome has made a surprising decision to relocate from Islamabad to Karachi, all thanks to his delightful culinary experience in Pakistan.
In a video shared on the US Consulate General Karachi page, Blome expressed his enthusiasm about his best meal in Pakistan, declaring, “So far the best meal, I’ve had in Pakistan, honestly. I have made a decision. This is I didn’t know about this before, but I’ve decided I’m going to move to Karachi. Yeah, I’m coming down here, and I am going to stay.”
Blome’s culinary adventure took him to Burns Road, Karachi’s famous food street, where he indulged in a flavorful feast.
At the renowned Waheed House, he savored a delicious spread, including barbecue and nihari, which left him exclaiming, “Mazydar Hai” (It’s delicious). He further delighted in a cup of karak tea from a local hotel, unable to resist its charm.
To conclude his gastronomic journey, Blome treated himself to rabri and falooda at the Delhi Rabri House.
