ISLAMABAD: The National Highway Authority (NHA) said a bridge has collapsed near Naran due to flash floods. All the traffic returning from Naran has been stopped.
According to NHA, the tourists have been advised to stay overnight at nearby places.

Meanwhile, the Federal Minister of Communications Maulana Asad Mehmood has directed NHA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) member to restore traffic by repairing the bridge immediately.
Also, the NHA staff has reached the spot along with machinery and they are developing an alternative route to restore traffic.

Communications Secretary Captain (retd) Muhammad Khurram Agha was supervising all the traffic restoration work.

The tourists are being advised to avoid visiting hilly areas due to bad weather and flash floods.
