In a tragic incident, three minor girls were discovered brutally murdered near their residence in Muzaffargarh. Law enforcement officials are currently pursuing the culprit responsible for the crime. It is unclear at this stage whether there was more than one perpetrator involved.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) Muzaffargarh Syed Hasnain Haider, the police received information about the disappearance of the three sisters from the Thermal Colony area on Monday. In response, authorities launched a search operation to find the girls. Subsequently, authorities found the bodies of the victims in an abandoned house near their home.
The victims are seven-year-old Abia, eight-year-old Zahrah, and 11-year-old Areesha. The police are currently collecting evidence. They are hopeful to apprehend the culprits soon.
Prior to the discovery of the bodies, the victim’s brother submitted a complaint to the police. In the complaint, he stated that his two sisters, Zahrah and Abia, had gone out to play at a nearby playground but did not return. His other sister, Areesha, went out to search for them and also did not come back.
As the investigation and evidence gathering are going on, the police have not yet registered an FIR. The recording of statements from relevant individuals involved in the case is going on.

Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has responded to the incident and instructed the regional police officer (RPO) of Dera Ghazi Khan to provide a report on the matter. He has urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure the swift arrest of the suspects involved.
