Reserved Verdict
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court will announce its reserved verdict in the Toshakhana case on Tuesday.
The IHC told the PTI and ECP lawyers that the court will announce the decision tomorrow at 11 am. On Monday, the court reserves the decision after hearing arguments from both sides.
Earlier, the two-member bench of the IHC reserves its verdict in this case. In this case, PTI chairman Imran Khan has challenged the sentence given by the trial court judge Humayun Dilawar.
The IHC bench led by chief justice Aamir Farooq heard the case on Monday. After hearing arguments, the bench reserved the verdict.
Earlier, the IHC chief justice the court will announce its decision today in the Toshakhana case conviction against Imran Khan.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) resumed the hearing on Monday on the PTI Chairmanโs plea seeking the suspension of the sentence. The trial courtโs Additional District and Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar awarded three years jail to Khan.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Amjad Parvez, completed his arguments in this case.
Earlier, on the request of the ECPโs assistant counsel, the court adjourned the hearing for Monday (today).
During the last hearing, PTI lawyer Latif Khosa completed his arguments.
Earlier this month, a trial court sentenced Khan to three years in prison and imposed a fine of Rs100,000. Khan challenged the verdict and approached the IHC for his release and the suspension of the conviction. In the same case, the ECP had filed a private complaint against Khan.

SC adjourns hearing In Toshakhana Case
The Supreme Court of Pakistan adjourned the hearing of the Toshakhana case last Friday.
During previous hearing, the Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial said the lower court announced the decision in haste. He also noted flaws in the decision against Imran Khan.
