ISLAMABAD: An alarming incident of severe brutality has been revealed in Dera Ismail Khan, where a seven-year-old child has suffered from a vicious act of torture.
A child endured cruel treatment amid theft accusations, causing nationwide outrage. Someone captured the video of the incident and widely shared on social media. The video showed that a person is violently beating a child to extract a confession.
The distressing event unfolded as the child faced accusations of theft, and it further led to brutal beatings in an attempt to force a confession.
The viral video identified Mohsin as the person responsible for the harsh punishment inflicted on the child. Further, the ordeal occurred within premises owned by an individual named Gulu.
Swift action from authorities resulted in the arrest of both perpetrators.Local law enforcement disclosed that the severe abuse took place in Islamia Colony. Someone accused the child of stealing pigeons.
The District Police Officer (DPO) promptly intervened and apprehended the accused after the video gained widespread attention on social media.
The police’s investigation revealed that they not only ohysically abused the child but also confined him to a cot unfairly. This distressing ordeal highlights the urgent need for action against such cruelty.
The inquiry also unveiled that the child was serving as a domestic helper for the accused individuals, assigned to minor household tasks.
Authorities have also arrested the two individuals involved in the disturbing incident: Muhammad Salim alias Gulu and Mohsin Sial.
