Security forces successfully neutralized 11 terrorists in a series of intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
In the first operation, conducted in Tank District following credible intelligence reports, security personnel engaged a militant hideout. The encounter resulted in the elimination of seven militants, described as “Khwarij” by the ISPR.
The second operation took place in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan. Security forces encountered and killed two more militants during an exchange of fire.
A third operation was launched in Mamad Gat, Mohmand District, where an intense firefight concluded with the deaths of two additional militants.
ISPR confirmed that a significant cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain individuals. These militants had been actively involved in multiple acts of terrorism, targeting both security forces and civilians.
Following the operations, a clean-up mission was conducted to ensure the area was cleared of any remaining threats. The ISPR emphasized the commitment of the security forces to maintaining peace and thwarting any attempts to destabilize the region.
