Saudi investment minister met with General Asim Munir

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al Falih, met with Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir in Rawalpindi, accompanied by a high-level government and business delegation. The discussions focused on topics of mutual interest, particularly initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors.

According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Munir expressed deep gratitude for the steadfast support that Pakistan receives from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.

The presence of one of the largest business delegations visiting Pakistan underscores the strong and fraternal ties between the two nations.

The high-level Saudi delegation included 130 investors, highlighting the commitment to fostering economic collaboration. General Munir emphasized the deep respect and affection that the people of Pakistan hold for the Kingdom, reinforcing the historical and cultural connections between the two countries.

During the meeting, the Chief of Army Staff assured the Saudi delegation of Pakistan’s full support and commitment to enhancing cooperation. He expressed optimism about the promising outcomes that could arise from this collaboration, which would be mutually beneficial for both nations.

This meeting represents a significant step in fortifying the already strong relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, particularly in the realm of investment and economic development.
