Saudi Crown Prince
ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, will be arriving in Pakistan on September 10 for a brief visit.
Saudi Crown Prince is expected stay in Islamabad for at least six hours. After that he will depart for India on a state visit.
During his brief stay here, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will discuss expansion in their bilateral cooperation.

In September 2022, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz appointed Mohammed bin Salman as Saudi Arabia’s prime minister. Prince Khalid was appointed as defense minister.
Since ascending to power in 2017, Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has brought about radical changes in Saudi Arabia. He has led efforts to diversify the economy, reducing its reliance on oil. Saudi Arabia also enabled women to drive, and curtailing the influence of clerics over society.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia sign Air Services Accord
Meanwhile, the governments of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia inked the Air Services Agreement (ASA). It will enhance the two countries collaboration within the aviation sector.
Khaqan Murtaza, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan, and Abdul Aziz Al Duailej, President of theย General Authority of Civil Aviationย (GACA) for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, signed the agreement.
Caretaker Adviser to the Prime Minister of Aviation, Farhat Hussain Malik, Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs, Aneeq Ahmed, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf Bin Saeed Al Maliki, and other officials from both countries witnessed the signing ceremony.
The Air Services Agreement will significantly boost cooperation within the aviation sector of both countries.
Prior to this, Saudi Arabiaโs Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Taufeeq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabiya, arrived in Islamabad, along with a delegation for a four-day visit. The Saudi Hajj Minister received a warm welcome at the airport from the caretaker Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Aneeq Ahmad, and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Almalki.
