Sara Sharif Death
Following their arrest in Pakistan after a month-long manhunt, British authorities took custody of Sara Sharif’s father, mother, and uncle.
Sources reported that Urfan Sharif, Sara’s father, Beinash (her stepmother), and Faisal Malik (Urfan’s brother) were flown to Britain from Sialkot International Airport on Wednesday.
The family members were apprehended Tuesday night, a day after a Jhelum court handed Urfan’s five children to the Child Protection Bureau. The children were found living with Urfan’s father.

Sources also indicated that the Jhelum district police chief (DPO) would hold a press conference to announce the arrests.
The trio had fled the UK with the children on August 10, shortly after Sara Sharif’s death from ‘unnatural causes.’
Upon arriving in Urfan’s native town of Jhelum, they went into hiding to evade arrest and possible extradition to the UK.
The trio was arrested overnight in Sialkot and is currently under interrogation at an undisclosed location.
