ISLAMABAD: Mr. Salman Iqbal, the President and CEO of ARY Digital Network, has been named among the 2024 World’s 500 Most Influential Muslims by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre, based in Jordan.

The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre has released the latest ranking of most influential Muslims in ‘The Muslim 500’ magazine. This magazine is published by an international Islamic non-governmental, independent institute headquartered in Amman, the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre.
Former PM Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir, Maulana Tariq Jameel, Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani, as well as ARY Digital Network President & CEO Salman Iqbal have been named among the influential Muslims.
The prominent global personalities listed among the top 50 included Saudi King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, Turkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Hamas leader Ismail Haneya and others.
90 Individuals Charged By Police For Halting Shehbaz Sharif’s Car
Meanwhile, the case identified 90 individuals, comprising four known and 86 unidentified individuals, who established a protest camp by the roadside and obstructed Shehbaz’s vehicle as he was returning from addressing a rally in Lahore.
They chanted slogans and impeded the former prime minister’s car for an extended period. According to news reports, the protestors had voiced their demand for the rehabilitation of Rohi Nullah.
