PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has offered a Rs 10 million reward for the person who provides information regarding the terrorist and his facilitators who carried out the January 30 suicide attack in Peshawar’s mosque inside the police headquarters.

The CTD has issued a public notice calling for the arrest of the terrorist facilitators who blew himself up in the mosque. The department publicly released images of the suicide bomber who blasted himself on January 30 in the Police Lines mosque.
Moreover, the CTD released a statement that said, “The suspected militant carried out a suicide attack within the police lines mosque which claimed the lives of several worshippers and left behind many more wounded.”
The person providing information regarding the bomber will be rewarded Rs.10m. However, his identity will be kept secret. Moreover, the informant’s anonymity will be guaranteed.
Additionally, Inspector General Moazzam Jah Ansari went to the Peshawar police lines. He examined the security protocols implemented for various police units.
A provincial police chief’s office statement states that the IGP was accompanied by the capital city police chief. Along with the SSP operations, and other officers.

The IGP was informed by CCPO Mohammad Ijaz Khan about the security measures. Those measures included the installation of RFID for guests and conducting of body searches. Moreover, it involves other precautions taken at the police lines.
IGP Ansari was also updated about the investigation into the Jan 30 suicide attack during his visit to the CTD office.
