ISLAMABAD: The Kremlin announced, today, that Russian President Vladimir Putin had no intentions of personally attending the G20 summit scheduled in India for September.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant against President Putin, alleging him of committing war crimes in Ukraine, a claim strongly denied by the Kremlin.
As a result, there is a potential risk of his arrest when he travels abroad.
What is preventing Putin from international travel?
During this week, he engaged in a virtual meeting with leaders from the BRICS group of emerging economies in South Africa. Rather than being physically present, he utilized a video link connection.
