Rangers arrested former Prime Minister Imran Khan from outside Islamabad High Court, where he had gone to seek bail in multiple FIRs registered against him in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
The law enforcement agency took him into custody from the courtroom and transported him in a black Vigo.

Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Justice Amir Farooq today summoned the Inspector General of Police in Islamabad and Additional Attorney General over the sudden arrest of PTI chairman Imran Khan.
IHC chief justice said that he would summon the prime minister in case the IG Police did not appear in the court in 15 days.
Khan was arrested from the courtyard of the IHC on Tuesday when he reached there to appear in court cases.
Rangers officials took into custody Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust scam. National Accountability Bureau is investigating the scam against former prime minister Imran Khan.
Inspector General of Islamabad Police Nasir Akbar Khan told the court that NAB had issued arrest warrants for Imran Khan in two cases _ the Al-Qadria Trust scam and the Toshakhana case.
He said that the Chairman NAB had issued arrest warrants on May 1, 2023.
IG Police also told the court that section 144 had been imposed in the capital city and action will be taken against its violation.
