Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan, sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, appeared before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT). They provided their statements regarding their alleged involvement in the May 9 riots.
The appearance was in connection with the attack on Jinnah House, Corps Commander Lahore, and other government properties.
Both sisters expressed their disassociation from the vandalizing and damaging of government properties during the riots.
Uzma Khan stated, “I participated in the demonstration in front of Jinnah House,” while Aleema Khan mentioned that she was present in Zaman Park during that time.
The JIT team summoned both sisters to record their statements.

Aleem Khan accused a group of five individuals of controlling the Punjab government of PTI. This group included the then army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa, DG ISI Lt. General (Retd) Faiz Hameed, Farah Gogi (a family friend of Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan), Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, and Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Azam Khan.
