Attack on Corps Commander House
LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: The chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) today challenged the cancellation of his interim bails in seven cases in Lahore High Court. The Jinnah House attack case is also included in which the court cancelled Khan’s bail.
Through his lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar, the PTI chairman contested the annulment of his interim bails.

The Lahore High Court’s two-member bench is set to review the petitions of the PTI chairman today.
According to the petition, PTI chairman is facing victimization and that the cases against him are politically motivated. The case of attack on the Corpse Commander House is also among them.
The petitioner, therefore, requested the court to order a merit-based hearing of his interim bail pleas in the relevant court.
Notably, the anti-terrorism court dismissed the bail pleas of the PTI chairman in the May 9 cases. The court authorized the arrest of Imran Khan in these cases.
Earlier, the court was informed that the PTI leader had been found guilty under the Election Act.
Currently, Khan is serving a three-year imprisonment in the Toshakhana case.
The court accepted the plea and allowed the police permission to investigate and arrest the former prime minister in the Jinnah House attack case.
On August 5, Islamabad police arrested Imran Khan from his Zaman Park residence in Lahore. Police arrested him after a local court in Islamabad awarded three years imprisonment to Khan in the Toshakhana case.
