ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) advised tourists venturing into northern areas to avoid travelling and commuting after evening hours to refrain from any inconvenience and untoward incident.
As per a PTDC advisory, due to recent floods submerging a significant portion of the road, the authorities have closed Babusar Gilgit-Baltistan Road to all traffic after 6pm.
To minimize inconvenience, authorities are urging tourists and commuters to complete their journeys before 6pm.
Tourists and travelers should contact the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kite Project Helpline (1422) for real-time weather updates, road conditions, and flood status.
