The lead suspect in the Fatima murder case has been linked to the dark web, according to statements made by the victim’s lawyer during a court hearing in Ranipur, Khairpur. Mir Imtiaz Memon disclosed, “There are indications that Asad Shah is connected to the dark web. These individuals create and share videos of child abuse, and he reportedly records such videos and sells them on the dark web.”

The mysterious death of Fatima came to light on August 16 when images of her emerged on social media. She had been employed at a mansion belonging to Pir Asad Shah in the Khairpur district. The victim was a 10-year-old girl.
However, Shah denied the accusations and asserted that they had handed over videos of their residence to the police. These videos are purportedly the same clips that went viral on social media.
The lawyer representing Fatima alleged that the police kept the accused confined at the bungalow overnight. They then transferred him to the police station in the morning, to avoid public attention.
Fatima’s father, Nadeem Ali Phariro, pledged that he would never forgive the murderer and would not rest until the perpetrator was executed. He declared, “Now there is no fear. I have no concerns even if my life is at stake.”
A final medical report indicated that the findings suggest evidence of rape. Samples were sent to a laboratory for analysis.
Following the postmortem examination, the medical board observed wounds on Fatima’s neck, abdomen, and arms. Samples extracted from the minor maid’s body are scheduled for examination in a laboratory. The results of the examination are expected to be available in about one month.
