Sources indicate that the Pakistan High Commission in London was initially unaware of Asif’s arrival, but they were later briefed on the incident after it occurred.
Following this episode, the Prime Minister’s Office is reportedly considering advising ministers to limit non-essential private travel to avoid such situations in the future.
