PML-N-Led Punjab Government to Present Provincial Budget on June 13

The Punjab government, led by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), is set to present the provincial budget on June 13. According to a notification issued by the Punjab Assembly Secretariat, the budget presentation will take place at 2 pm during the 11th session of the Punjab Assembly. The session will be presided over by Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has reiterated her commitment to ensuring that every citizen has equal access to services. This commitment was underscored during a meeting in Lahore with Provincial Ombudsman Major (R) Sulaiman Khan. The discussion between the Chief Minister and the Ombudsman focused on a variety of issues related to administration, good governance, public grievances, and the mechanisms for redressal within government departments.

During the meeting, the Provincial Ombudsman presented the annual report to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The report highlighted the steps taken by the Ombudsman’s office to resolve public complaints and disputes. This included a detailed account of the measures implemented to enhance administrative efficiency and improve the responsiveness of government departments to the needs of the public.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed her satisfaction with the progress made and emphasized the importance of continued efforts to address public grievances promptly and effectively. She stressed that good governance and efficient administrative practices are essential for building public trust and ensuring the equitable distribution of resources and services across the province.

The upcoming budget presentation is expected to reflect these priorities, with a focus on policies and initiatives aimed at promoting equal access to services and improving the overall quality of governance in Punjab. The session on June 13 will be a crucial moment for the PML-N-led government to outline its fiscal strategy and demonstrate its commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of the citizens of Punjab.
