ISLAMABAD: Indian authorities arrested a Pakistani woman for ‘illegally’ crossing border along with her four children to meet her online male friend in India with whom she used to play the PUBG Mobile.
The 27-year-old Pakistan woman, Seema Ghulam Haider illegally entered India to meet her friend Sachin. She crossed the border from India’s Greater Noida.
Seema reached India along with her four children in May this year through Nepal. First she entered Uttar Pradesh and then reached Greater Noida by bus to meet Sachin. The story of Seema and her friend has gone viral on social and electronic media.
After a few days, Indian police received information about illegal stay of a Pakistani woman in Greater Noida.
The owner of the apartment Brijesh told police that they had rented the house in May.
Brijesh further informed the police that the couple claimed they had a court marriage and had four children. Sachin has a grocery store in Greater Noida.
Indian police have launched investigation to get more details about the woman and why she entered India illegally.
Moreover, Indian police have taken Sachin and Seema into custody and further investigation on the case was underway.
Seema Ghulam Haider is a resident of Karachi. She was married to Ghulam Haider in Pakistan. In 2019, Ghulam Haider went abroad for work.
Ghulam Haider has made an appeal to the government of Pakistan to bring his children back from India.
