The Foreign Office has rejected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statement regarding the alleged threat posed by Pakistan to Israel. Pakistan, as clarified by FO spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch during a weekly press briefing, is a peaceful nation.
In response to a query, the spokesperson affirmed that Pakistan has no intention of deploying its military forces to Gaza. She expressed Pakistan’s deep concern about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza resulting from Israel’s aggression and stressed that deliberate attacks on civilian targets are considered war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The FO spokesperson reiterated calls for an immediate ceasefire and the establishment of humanitarian corridors. She also announced that a chartered plane would depart with 100 tonnes of aid, including medical supplies, tents, and blankets, on Thursday afternoon.
Baloch highlighted Pakistan’s role in co-convening the extraordinary OIC meeting on Palestine, where calls were made for the implementation of the Two-State solution.
Additionally, she mentioned that Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar had raised the issue of a ceasefire in Gaza with the UN secretary-general. Overall, Pakistan’s Foreign Office rejects Netanyahu’s statement on Pakistan’s alleged threat perception to Israel.

During a meeting on the sidelines of the third Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for International Cooperation in Beijing, Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar hailed Pakistan’s partnership with China as “made in heaven.”
He expressed unwavering support, stating, “We will always stand with China and trust you blindly.” The meeting took place as part of the ongoing celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
