Owais Shah, Sindh Assembly Speaker’s nominee, calls on Agha Siraj Durrani

On Saturday, Owais Shah, the nominee for Sindh Assembly Speaker, engaged in a significant meeting with Agha Siraj Durrani in Karachi, attended by prominent figures such as Sharjeel Inam Memon and Makesh Kumar Chawla.

Post the completion of the scrutiny process, Shah expressed his sentiments, stating, “We have come to meet Agha Siraj Durrani following the completion of the scrutiny.” In a gesture of goodwill, he extended an olive branch to Durrani, emphasizing their relationship, “Agha Siraj Durrani is our elder, and I have learned a lot from him and will continue to learn from him.”

Shah is committed to ensuring a harmonious parliamentary experience for all members, affirming, “All the members of the assembly are respectable. I am looking forward to ensuring that nobody else has any complaints during the parliamentary proceedings.”

Meanwhile, Bilawal Bhutto addressed the newly elected members of the Sindh Assembly, underscoring the imperative need for heightened performance and dedication from the party to meet the elevated expectations of the people.
