Nawaz Sharif’s Long-Awaited Homecoming Set for October 15 By PML-N

Shehbaz and Nawaz address media in London following crucial meeting

ISLAMABAD: Amid widespread speculations, the return date of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif has been officially confirmed by PMLN President Shehbaz Sharif.

Shehbaz Sharif affirmed that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be returning to the country on October 15 this year for the third time.

He stated that he will personally lead the PMLN’s election campaign.

Shehbaz Sharif officially announced the date of October 15 for Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan.

He pledged that Nawaz Sharif will come back to the country and abide by the law.

Former Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif also emphasized the necessity of holding people accountable to propel the country’s progress.

ECP responsibility to Conduct free and fair elections

Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the PMLN dissolved the assemblies in accordance with the law. It is now the responsibility of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to conduct free and fair elections.

He provided assurance that the PML-N, as a political party, will stand by and support the ECP.

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that Nawaz Sharif’s name was not among the 300 to 400 names listed in the Panama Papers.

Courts give clean chit to Nawaz Sharif

Shehbaz Sharif stated that Imran Niazi, along with Mirza Shahzad Akbar, squandered millions of rupees, but the courts exonerated Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif.

Nawaz Sharif had initially intended to return in mid-September.

PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif also traveled to London to meet Nawaz Sharif.

There are plans to warmly welcome him with an enthusiastic reception that will represent the sentiments of PMLN workers from all corners of the country.

When did Nawaz Sharif travel to London for medical treatment?

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif departed for London on November 19, 2019, for medical treatment after the Lahore High Court (LHC) granted him permission to travel abroad for four weeks.
