Restoration of Appeals
Upon arriving at Islamabad airport, PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif consulted with his legal team and personally signed petitions to reinstate the appeals in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia cases.
Accompanied by Irfan Siddiqui and personal physician Dr. Adnan, Nawaz Sharif was greeted by numerous journalists and party members.
Preceding Nawaz Sharif’s arrival, the PML-N legal team, including Barrister Zafarullah Khan, Azam Nazir Tarar, and Amjad Parvez, prepared the necessary requests for reinstating the appeals.
Upon disembarking from the plane, Nawaz Sharif promptly proceeded to the airport lounge, where he met with the legal team.
Following the completion of Nawaz Sharif’s immigration formalities and passport stamping for entry into Pakistan, the legal team executed the petitions for reinstating appeals in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia cases. Moments before Nawaz Sharif’s special flight touched down at Islamabad airport, Maryam Nawaz, his daughter, expressed on her X account that this was possibly the most significant day of her life.
She conveyed her gratitude to Allah Almighty, acknowledging the immense suffering and hardships her father, Nawaz Sharif, had endured over the past 24 years, which were incomparable.
She emphasized that there were certain wounds that would never truly heal. Despite these trials, Maryam believed that Nawaz Sharif had witnessed remarkable heights that no one else could ever achieve.
She expressed her hope that today, Pakistan would witness another remarkable chapter in Nawaz Sharif’s journey, and she held firm in her faith that this resurgence would come to fruition, God willing.
