A judicial magistrate in Karachi has denied the bail application of Natasha Danish, who is facing drug-related charges connected to a tragic car accident in the city.

The magistrate had reserved judgment on Natasha’s bail request on September 6, and the decision to reject her bail application was influenced by the recent settlement.
It has been reported that Natasha’s family agreed to pay over 50 million rupees in compensation to the family of one of the victims, Amina.
This payment was facilitated through a formal pay order. Additionally, Natasha’s family is set to offer employment to a member of Amina’s family as part of the settlement.
The settlement also extended to the individuals who were injured in the accident. Separate compensation payments were made to them, all in accordance with Islamic law.
These settlements were part of the efforts to address the grievances stemming from the incident. However, it is worth noting that the police have declared Natasha’s British driving license inadmissible in the interim charge sheet submitted recently.
The tragic accident occurred on August 19, when Natasha, driving a speeding car, lost control and crashed into pedestrians on Karsaz Road in Karachi.
The collision resulted in the deaths of Imran Arif and his daughter Amina, and injured four other individuals. Natasha was apprehended by the police shortly after the incident.
The case has sparked significant public outrage, with widespread calls for justice for the victims and demands for strict legal action against Natasha.
