NAB summons Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi on June 7, seeks assets record of 22 PTI leaders
ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau has summoned former prime minister Imran Khan and his spouse, Bushra Bibi on June 7. The Bureau called them for the investigations of the £190 million settlement case. It includes transferring funds from Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA) account to Pakistan.
According to NAB, the investigation team of the Bureau has summoned Bushra Bibi aka Pinki Pirni to record her statement as a witness for being the trustee of the Al-Qadir University Trust.

Meanwhile, the combined investigation team will investigate PTI chairman Imran Khan in this case.
According to NAB, the investigation team would question Imran Khan again about various aspects of the case.
NAB seeks record of assets of PTI leaders
The illegal transfer case of 190 million pounds took a new turn last week as the National Accountability Bureau Rawalpindi sought the record of the assets of 22 PTI leaders and former ministers.
It shows the NAB has paced up the investigation against 22 PTI leaders.
Last week, NAB wrote a letter to the excise secretaries of all the provinces, seeking complete records of the properties, vehicles, and bank accounts in the name of these leaders.
Pervaiz Khattak, Omar Ayub, Hammad Azhar, Murad Saeed, Asad Umar, Sheikh Rashid, Fawad Chaudhry, Azam Swati, Ali Zaidi, Faisal Vawda, Ali Amin Gandapur, and Shafaqt Mahmood are among the leaders whose assets details are being collected.
The Bureau also sought records of properties of Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Shireen Mazari, MQM’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Farogh Naseem, Khusro Bakhtiar, and Ejaz Shah.
According to the notice, NAB directed the excise secretaries to provide records of all the vehicles bought or sold by the former federal ministers since 2018.
The NAB is investigating the illegal transfer of 190 million pounds against former ministers and cabinet members in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
