Khawar Maneka, the former husband of Bushra Bibi, who is now married to Imran Khan, made startling revelations about the dissolution of his marriage and Imran Khan’s subsequent marriage to Bushra Bibi.

Maneka accused Imran Khan of disrupting his 28-year-long happy marriage with Bushra Bibi, alleging that Khan used the pretext of “peer muridi” (spiritual guidance) to justify his actions.
According to Maneka, Bushra Bibi married Imran Khan just a month and a half after their divorce in November 2017, a fact he claims he was unaware of. He expressed his surprise and denial when the news of their marriage was initially reported by the media.
Maneka further revealed that Imran Khan would visit his home without his consent, causing distress over his ex-wife’s interactions with the PTI chief. Maneka recounted an incident where he had to ask Imran Khan to leave his house with the help of domestic staff.
The story of how Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi initially met was disclosed by Maneka. He claimed that during a PTI protest sit-in in Islamabad, Maryam Watto, the sister of the former first lady, facilitated a meeting between Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. Following this encounter, the two started meeting frequently in Islamabad.
Khawar Maneka also shared details of the clandestine communication between Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. He alleged that his then-wife would engage in secret overnight conversations with Imran Khan on a phone number provided by Farah Gogi at the request of the PTI chief.
Six months before their wedding, Maneka stated that Bushra Bibi separated from him and moved to her house in Pakpattan city, refusing to return despite his insistence. According to Maneka, he was eventually asked by Farah Gogi to divorce Bushra Bibi, a request he complied with by sending the divorce papers through Gogi on November 14, 2017.
Maneka claimed that later, Farah Gogi and Zulfi Bukhari, a close aide of Imran Khan, urged him to alter the date of the divorce on paper and remain silent, citing Imran Khan’s ambition to become the Prime Minister as the reason.
