The IHC Additional Registrar issued the notification in line with these instructions.

It’s noteworthy that the authorities arrested PTI Chairman Imran Khan on August 6, marking the second time in three months.

This occurred immediately after the Islamabad sessions court handed him a three-year imprisonment and a five-year disqualification in the Toshakhana criminal case.

Following the arrest, authorities transferred Imran Khan to Attock Jail for his detention and underwent a medical examination.

IHC’s Monday Hearing Awaited

On Friday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) postponed the hearing related to Imran Khan’s appeal against his conviction and the subsequent suspension of his sentence in the Toshakhana criminal case.

The adjournment was due to the absence of Amjad Pervaiz, the lawyer representing the Election Commission of Pakistan.

A division bench, composed of IHC Chief Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, presided over the case.

As a result, the court granted the request for an adjournment made by ECP lawyer Amjad Pervaiz and rescheduled the next hearing for Monday.
