Police in Islamabad’s Capital Territory (ICT) have made it easier for the public to file complaints or request crucial information by launching a WhatsApp hotline.
To expedite complaint registration and resolution, ICT Police is now the first police agency in the country to make use of a WhatsApp hotline.
Inspector General of the ICT Police Muhammad Ahsan Younas stated that the public can now contact the ICT police via WhatsApp.
Just store the number 03342874287 in your contact list and send a WhatsApp message to it. The hotline is available in both English and Urdu.
The WhatsApp hotline provides easy access to all 18 ICT Police services.
IGP Complaint Cell, Pakistan’s Police Facilitation Centre, Online Crimes and Complaints Reporting System, Helpline Numbers of the ICT Police, Gender Discrimination Reporting, online appointments for all services and police advisories and offices are included. Services for Pakistanis living abroad, social media, an app and website for the Islamabad Police, a youth engagement programme called Zainab Alert, daily inquiries and investigations into fugitives from justice, the most wanted criminals, the ability to use PMDU, and suggestions and feedback are all also included.
