Meanwhile, weather experts said the cyclone is advancing with 03 category. It is very dangerous for the coastal areas in Pakistan and India.
However, on Wednesday the cyclone can change its direction from Karachi to Thatta, Badin, and coastal areas of Balochistan.
In the past, the cyclones always changed their course at the eleventh hour, leaving Karachi safe and sound. This time experts and people are anticipating the same thing.
Heavy rains, storm to hit Karachi, Badin, and Thatta
Meanwhile, according to weather experts, heavy rains and windstorm can hit Karachi, Badin, and Thatta due to the Cyclone Biparjoy that is just 370-km away from south of Karachi at this time.
Sindh government, NDMA, and local administrations have taken measures to prevent people from natural calamity.
Evacuation underway
Moreover, Sindh government has paced up its efforts to evacuate people from the coastal areas as Cyclone Biparjoy is approaching with greater intensity.
According to the Met Office alert, the Cyclone Biparjoy has turned into an “extremely severe cyclonic storm”. It is likely to cross over the area between Pakistan’s Keti Bandar and Indian Gujarat on June 15.
On Monday, the Cyclone was near Latitude 19.5N, longitude 67.6E, at a distance of 600km south of Karachi and 580km south of Thatta.
