Interior Minister Approves FC Deployment to Strengthen Security in AJK

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has sanctioned the deployment of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) to Azad Kashmir, responding to a request from Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq.

The decision followed a meeting between the two leaders at the Ministry of Interior in Islamabad, where they discussed the security situation and law and order in Azad Kashmir. The dialogue also covered the political landscape and the budget for the new fiscal year in the region.

During the meeting, Interior Minister Naqvi assured Prime Minister ul Haq of the federal government’s full support in maintaining peace and enhancing security measures in Azad Kashmir. “We are fulfilling our promises to the people of Azad Kashmir,” Naqvi stated. “The Government of Pakistan stands with the Azad Kashmir government and its people. We will provide all possible cooperation for the prosperity and development of Azad Kashmir.”

Prime Minister ul Haq expressed his gratitude to the federal government for its swift action in addressing the region’s issues. He emphasized the importance of the federal government’s support in ensuring the safety and stability of Azad Kashmir.

The deployment of the FC is anticipated to bolster security efforts and contribute to maintaining peace and stability in the region. This move is seen as part of the federal government’s commitment to supporting Azad Kashmir’s government and its people, aiming to promote prosperity and development.

Overall, the meeting highlighted the collaborative efforts between the federal and Azad Kashmir governments to address security concerns and improve the overall situation in the region.
