The weather has turned scorching hot Thursday as the temperature crossed 40 degrees in most parts of the country.
The temperature in Lahore is expected to shoot up to 44 degrees whereas the current temperature in Lahore is recorded at 41 degrees. The temperature in Islamabad is 40 degrees, 43 degrees in Chakwal, Nurpur Thal and Dalbandin.
According to the latest reports, the temperature in Bannu and Dadu has risen up to 42 degrees. Met department has forecasted that the temperature may rise up to 50 degrees in Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Medical experts have warned that this heat wave could lead to heat exhaustion or heat stroke, so the citizens should not go out unnecessarily.
Doctors have advised the citizens to drink as much water as possible in summer as the lack of water may lead to muscle strain and other problems. The Met department also advised to take precautions as the weather may shoot up to 50 degrees in coming days.
On the other hand, the weather in Karachi is hot and humid. According to the meteorological department, strong and dusty winds are blowing in the city. The wind speed from the southwest is recorded to be 22-25 km per hour.
