Imran Khan sends Rs 10 billion defamation notice to Health Minister Qadir Patel for malicious propaganda
ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and PTI chairman Imran Khan today sent a Rs 10 billion defamation notice to Health Minister Qadir Patel for malicious propaganda against him.
A few days ago, Health Minister Qadir Patel addressed a press conference in which he claimed that the medical reports of Imran Khan indicate he consumes cocaine and alcohol.

Patel said the medical examination of Imran Khan was carried out at PIMS hospital when the Rangers arrested him in the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case.

Imran Khan, however, has negated the assertions of Qadir Patel and sent him a defamation notice through his legal consultant _ Crown Law Chambers.
Through his legal consultant, Imran Khan has asked Qadir Patel to detract his claims, tender an apology publicly, and pay Rs 10 billion as defamation charges within 15 days of receiving the notice.
In case of failure, Imran Khan will initiate legal proceedings against Qadir Patel.
