MDCAT Candidates
Students who successfully passed the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test have approached the Peshawar High Court against the proposed retake of the test.
These students, who scored at least 180 in the test, filed the petition, asserting that they had worked hard to pass the test and that a retake would disadvantage talented students who had cleared the test the first time.

The students assert that the MDCAT rules do not allow for retaking the test. The petition requests the High Court to order an investigation and penalize individuals who cheated on the exam rather than canceling the results entirely.
The PHC has already suspended the uploading of test results by medical colleges until they submit a report from a Joint Investigation on the matter.
Results from the MDCAT exam conducted on September 10 had revealed that as many as 110 candidates had secured 190 or above marks. Other aspirants expressed concerns, noting that only two students achieved such results last year.”
Canadian Sikh Group Calls For Peaceful Protests Outside Indian Embassies
Moreover, a Canadian Sikh group has urged its members to protest outside the main Canadian cities’ Indian diplomatic missions on Monday, a week after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau raised the prospect of New Delhi’s involvement in the murder of a Sikh separatist leader in British Columbia.
Last week, Trudeau stated that Canada was pursuing “credible allegations” linking Indian government agents to the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was shot dead outside a Sikh temple on June 18 in Surrey, a Vancouver suburb with a high Sikh population.
