Hadiqa Bashir’s commitment as an activist revolves around advancing the cause of women’s education and rights in the Swat region. Founding ‘Girls United for Human Rights’, she tirelessly combats the prevalent issue of underage marriages among girls in her community.
Global Citizen commends Bashir for her unwavering advocacy for gender equality in tribal regions, underscoring the pivotal role of education in transforming the lives of young girls.
