Promptly informing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government of the situation, the Ministry of Interior has confirmed the cancellation of these fraudulent identity cards.
In response to this alarming revelation, the Ministry of Interior has initiated comprehensive measures. Detailed information pertaining to the assets associated with these counterfeit identity cards has been formally requested from the provincial government. Specifically, the Excise Department has been directed to furnish records related to the vehicles, while the Revenue Department has been tasked with providing details regarding properties and assets linked to the fraudulent identities.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Interior has reached out to the Counter Terrorism Police to gather information on any cases associated with the invalidated identity cards. Concurrently, the Ministry has requested data from the Ministry of Interior regarding weapon licenses issued on the basis of these falsified identity cards.
