Gandapur vows to send delegation to Afghanistan to address security issues

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, has made a bold declaration, pledging to send a delegation to Afghanistan to address the province’s security challenges. This announcement follows his recent appearance at a PTI rally in Islamabad and a subsequent period of absence.

Speaking at a bar council gathering in Peshawar, Gandapur reiterated his support for Imran Khan’s ideology, calling on state institutions to reform for the country’s and its people’s benefit. He issued a stern warning, saying, “Keep your policies within your own domain. It is my responsibility to protect the lives of the people in my province.”

Gandapur criticized those he believes are responsible for harmful policies and urged them to identify who is at fault. Frustrated by the inaction over security issues, he asserted, “Let me send a delegation to Afghanistan. They are our neighbors, but no one seems to care. My patience is wearing thin.”

He further announced his intent to personally engage with Afghanistan, stating, “I will speak directly with Afghanistan, send a delegation, sit down with them, and find a solution to this issue.”

Reestablishing contact with his party leaders, Gandapur has now returned to Peshawar. During his address, he urged institutions to reform, emphasizing, “Your reform will benefit Pakistan, this nation, and even yourselves.”

Gandapur also stressed his rights as a free citizen, stating, “You must answer me. If you don’t, I will ask questions, raise my voice, and take a stand.” He added that his government has not sought revenge or misused provincial institutions for personal gain, emphasizing, “We do not want to foster hatred, as it only harms the country.”

Reaffirming his commitment to justice and freedom, he concluded, “We will not abandon our struggle for rights. The constitution empowers us to defend those rights.”
