Another Aid Shipment from Pakistan Departs for Gaza and Lebanon

Following the Prime Minister’s directives, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is actively providing humanitarian aid to those affected by the conflict in Gaza and Lebanon.

Today, the second consignment of aid was dispatched from Karachi to Lebanon. This shipment, organized by the NDMA in collaboration with the Al-Khidmat Foundation, consists of approximately 100 tons of supplies, including medicines, ready-to-eat meals, tents, tarpaulins, warm bedding, winter clothing, and powdered milk.

The aid was flown from Jinnah International Airport in Karachi to Beirut, Lebanon. The send-off ceremony was attended by representatives from the NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Al-Khidmat Foundation, and local administration.

Participants highlighted the urgent need for relief for the war-torn populations of Palestine and Lebanon amidst the ongoing conflict. They reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting those in distress and emphasized the importance of collaboration between welfare organizations and the Pakistani public to enhance these efforts.

This marks Pakistan’s 12th aid shipment to Palestine and Lebanon, following ten previous consignments sent to Palestine. The Government of Pakistan continues to respond to the needs of the war-affected communities in Lebanon.
