KARACHI: Fly Jinnah, a prospective low-cost carrier, is set up to take flight in June.
In Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore, the airline has already begun recruitment efforts for cabin personnel. Fly Jinnah will operate flights between Karachi, Lahore, and, Islamabad.
For domestic flights, the airline has indicated that it will charge the lowest rate possible.
According to a Pakistani aviation expert, “Air Arabia, which is a minority stakeholder in Fly Jinnah, will profit from its experience.”
A “low-cost airline,” like its partner, will be the model for this new carrier.
Once local operations have been successfully completed for a year after the addition of planes, the airline plans to gradually expand to foreign routes, the insider said.
TPRI (Tourism Promotion and Regional Integration) licences were awarded by the Civil Aviation Authority on Saturday to a newly founded commercial airline called North Air.
